Vibration Toy
3V engine vibration, and I can put on a rheostat?
I had one of those http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2914700 and a battery that contains two AAA batteries I connect black to black, red to red and is now running, but I think we will need a resistor or something that is just 3V batteries for -? So I want to connect to a potentiometer in order to be fully extinguished and lit can explain how to do this in rather simple? I had thought even reverse engineering an adjustable speed vibrations sex toys to see how they work, but prefer not to spend any money Oh the engine is not adheres to anything, I just want vibration variable 0% to 100%
2 AAA batteries will 3V. A pot is a very inefficient way to control the speed. A much better way is to use PWM speed control. Here is a circuit http://www.dprg.org/tutorials/2005-11a/index.html For your application to use a non TLC555 LM555. Works best low voltage.
