Tall black boots in AZ this time of year?

I’m along on a business trip with my husband and we have dinner and cocktails with a bunch of people tonight. It is dressy casual. Are my almost knee length heeled black boots appropriate with a skirt this time of year in Scottsdale, AZ? I live in MN and have been wearing them but not sure here—it is 80-90 degrees during the day and 50′s at night.

i happen to live like 45 min away from scottsdale. do you mean a leather type of boot, or like an ugg kinda snow boot. if you mean the leather kind i think it will be fine, although you feet may get pretty sweaty. if your talking about snow boots, then no, its way too hot!
