Waterproof Vibes

My boyfriend just bought me a Pipedream waterproof lipstick vibe vibrator, I put the batteries in and it says it’s a multispeed vibrator, but it will only go one speed. Did i put the batteries in wrong? What’s going on with this thing. Is it just maybe broken? I can’t figure it out.
We haven’t used it yet.

It has battery problems, does it come with manual? try reading its manual if it does have. or maybe you are pressing the wrong switch, don’t get too excited on using it, try to understand it carefully..
