Pole Dancing Clothes
What clothes/shoes should be worn during these dance lessons?
I’m going to be taking a lot of dance classes. What should I wear (clothes/shoes/accessories) for each?
Hip Hop
Belly Dance
Salsa
Pole Dance
Samba
For belly dance class I usually wear yoga or jazz pants and a crop top or tank top with a hip scarf. I wear half sole sandals also. Most in our troupe wear something similar. You want wear something that doesn’t restrict movement and isn’t bulky, so you can see if you are executing movements correctly. Your instructor should tell you if they expect you to have any accessories like veils, zills, cane, sword, etc. for class.
I can’t help much with the other dance styles. Sometimes it depends on the instructor as to what they expect the students to wear to class or to bring with them to class.
