How long does it take to get used to wearing shoes with high heels and platforms??

you should get your heels, no heels … you want to look comfortable and professional … dislike you bought the shoes look good, but can not walk, perhaps, something like an inch to 1 3 / 4''… i wouldnt go 2-inch heels to return to you to support the ankles and Arent float freely around.
