Bachlorette Party

What are fun things to do at a wedding shower and bachlorette party?

I’m getting married and I need to tell my maid of honor what I want for these two things and I dont want strippers for my bachlorette party, but I was just wanting a bunch of cool ideas for the two parties! =)

OK for a wild type of girl I would Party like it is summer style with the blow up bachelorette party toys like the blow up Willie Ring Toss or the Peter Doll that you can float on for a game of Marco Polo and then play ring toss! Lots of fun whether you are indoors our outdoors!
Learn How To Strip: Another fun idea is to go to someone’s house and take a class in strip dancing. A professional female can come out to your house and teach you the art of pole dancing and lap dancing.

Passion Party: A more popular party is called a “passion party” where you go to a friend’s house and hire a passion party consultant to come out and show different adult toys as well as go over the art of kama sutra to bring back to your relationship after the party is over! You can find more information out about these parties at Bachelorette Party Funl.

Go bar hopping: Get a sober driver or buss and you are on your way to either one or multiple bar stops. Have the bride get a little tipsy and take lots of pictures! A great way to flirt with the boys and embarrass the bride-to-be as the night goes on.

Scavenger Hunt with the Bride: Have all the girls come up with light-hearted dares for the bride to accomplish and check off. Things like “Ask for a Sex On The Beach drink at a bar”, “Dance with a bald headed man”, “Get a guys underwear”, “Have a guy do a body shot off of your stomach”, “Have the bride yell in a bar ‘I am getting married and I may be making the biggest mistake of my life’ in front of everyone”, and many more! You can also purchase pre-made scavenger hunts in the form of a napkin game, checklist bag, or shirt with check-off boxes and a pen on www.bachelorettepartyfun.com games section. You can also visit their scavenger hunt help list at Bachelorette Party Fun for free.

Dressing Sexy: One bachelorette party, all of the girls dresses in black while the bride dressed in white with a white boa! It was a great time and we all looked great! All the guys turned their heads as we walked by which made for a really fun evening! Dress to impress with all your girls and choose a theme which makes it that much more fun!

Suck For A Buck T-Shirt – Create a suck for a buck t-shirt for the bachelorette. One of the classic games to play at Bachelorette parties. Create a Shirt with the words across the stomach that say “Suck For A $.” Sew (or lick and stick) lifesavers throughout the shirt in “strategic” locations. During the night of the Bachelorette party, solicit men/boys/victims to pay to suck off one of the lifesavers. IMPORTANT TIP: Make sure to bring another shirt for the Bachelorette so she can change, in case the t-shirt rips or it gets too cold after you finish the game. If you are not into the suck for a buck game on a t-shirt, you can buy a candy necklace and have males pay to bite a candy off.

MELLOW BACHELORETTE PARTY IDEAS
For those of you who know the bachelorette wants to have a quiet time with her friends, isn’t into the crazy party thing, or just wants to be pampered, we have the ideas for you! Below, we have listed the top bachelorette party mellow ideas you can use for your party:
Dinner Out: Choose the bride-to-be’s favorite restaurant and all go have a great time! Tell funny stories about the bachelorette, how you all met her and the funniest story you can remember about her. This can be a very memorable time for all of you!

Top Mellow Game: A real fun game that is played at many bridal showers is to first speak with the groom and pick 20 questions such as, “What is your favorite color?”, “What is your favorite movie?”, “What is your favorite song”, “What is your most embarrassing moment?”, and more! Have the bride-to-be show you how many she gets right! This game always gets a laugh when you choose more intimate questions!

Make-up and Pampering Bachelorette Party: The new trend is to have fun with the bachelorettes and bride to be by all meeting early before going out and spend time at a place getting your make-up done while having a martini or other favorite drink (have a limo or sober driver girls). This is a great way to start off the night of having an awesome time at the bachelorette party! There are other great ways of having fun like visiting the Beauty Bar in your area (if you have one). There is nothing like getting a manicure and listening to fine music while drinking a martini before hitting the restaurant, clubs and dancing with your divas.

Spa and Relax: Go to a near-by spa with the girls and get a manicure, pedicure, and massage! You all deserve feeling like queens for a day. This is a great way to all de-stress before the big day! Have lunch out after as a group as you reminisce of the great times together and good times to come! Check out www.spawish.com for a spa near you.

Go to a Play/Concert: No one says you have to do a traditional party! Feel free to go to a play like Bridies Bachelorette Party, or a theater near you that has your favorite Broadway play! If not into the theater, feel free to attend your favorite concert as a group. Can be a lot of fun! If you are in NY or Las Vegas, Check out Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding by clicking here for NY (www.tonyandtinanewyork.com) or here for Las Vegas (www.tonyandtinavegas.com)

Decorations with Style: Decorations can make a party festive, whether in a hotel room or someone’s house. Purchase some inexpensive decorations like black “Last Night Out” Party Balloons, bachelorette party banners, and other items that you can find here.

Gifts with Style: Traditionally, you do not have to purchase a gift for the bachelorette, however, it is a nice gesture to get something small as a remembrance of the evening. Bath and Body gifts are a great way to remind the bride-to-be to relax before her big day! Check out these bath and body gifts we find are a winner for any bachelorette party bride!

Get Out Of Town: Get out of town for some fun and sun or adventure. Click here for some out of town ideas that are favorites of bachelorettes nationwide. Whether you go hiking, fishing, or just lay in the sun by a pool (or go ice skating/skiing if it is Winter), you will have a great time since you are with great company!

or

Let’s face it, marriage is a gamble. So why not hold the bachelorette bash at a casino or racetrack? Most have a nice restaurant, and you might want to see a show or book rooms overnight. The great thing about gambling parties (other than the free drinks) is that some may walk away with enough money to pay for the bridesmaid dresses, a wedding present, or — even better — another girls’ night out! Just remember the odds are against you, so if betting is your thing, put down only what you can afford to lose.

Pamper Palace

Suggest a day or weekend spa event and send everyone running for their plush terry robes. You’ll forgo junk food and alcohol, but those clean pores and exfoliated elbows will be worth it. Choose a full-service site that offers everything from massages and mud wraps to makeovers and manicures. The bride will appreciate the stress-buster, and you all may find great new looks for wedding day.

Disco Inferno

Who said disco was dead? If the bride was a tube-top-wearing ball of Saturday Night Fever energy in the ’70s — or a Studio 54 wannabe, at any rate — why not whisk her off to a hopping nightclub? Whether she’s into “Disco Inferno,” “Come on Eileen,” or something a bit more contemporary, find a place with the perfect special theme night. (Dressing up is so much fun!)

Hee Haw

If she’s a country girl, maybe the bride-to-be would prefer a good old-fashioned Virginia Reel. Take her for a honky-tonk night at a country and western bar — and bring your cowboy boots and hats!

Karaoke

If you’ve forgotten the liberating feeling of making utter fools of yourselves, lip-synching will be fun for all. There’s a reason kamikazes are served in karaoke bars. After all, do you really want to remember your performance?

Let Them Eat Cheese

Fondue parties can be great, messy fun. Communal pots of melted cheese and chocolate seem to encourage giggles and gossip. Do this at home if you’ve got the equipment (and people willing to chop veggies, meats, and fruits), or you can reserve a big table at a fondue restaurant. Go ahead and indulge — don’t worry about the calories. This is your night to get down and get cheesy.

It’s in the Stars (and the Cards)

If the bride knows her Sun and Moon signs, plus her fiance’s rising sign, we can predict with almost perfect accuracy that she’ll love a New Age party. Hire a tarot card reader and an astrologer to do everyone’s chart. This idea can be a big hit — and not just with the starry-eyed bride. Who doesn’t want to know what the future holds?

Coffee, Tea, or — Tea!

If your friend is a paragon of lady-like behavior (with just a few slip-ups about which she’s sworn you to secrecy), she may appreciate a Victorian-style tea party, complete with lace doilies, finger sandwiches, petit fours, and scones. You can easily host a tea in someone’s home, or if you really want to
