Bachelorette Pole Party
Planning a clean bachelorette party…help?!?
I am planning a bachelorette party. There will no alcohol and no strippers out of respect for the bride. I don’t know all of the friends she wants to invite and I don’t want to embarrass her in front of people she goes to church with. Do you think a pole dancing aerobics class is too risque? It’s at a women’s gym. Does anyone have any suggestions…? We also want to plan a photo scavenger hunt. Can you think of any funny pictures she should have to pose in?
Pole dancing is definitely too risque. You don’t want to embarrass her or hurt her trust in you by planning something that even MIGHT embarrass her. Think of how you would feel if your friends planned something for you to do that made you feel awkward or uncomfortable. That’s not how you want her to remember the party. Do something she likes….bowling, dinner out, see a show, take horse back riding lessons…..think of what her interests are and plan something fun and wholesome and memorable that everyone can participate in around that. Have a Mary Kay or Avon party and all the gals can get their makup done…check online for lots of good party games (there are plenty of clean ones out there). Good luck and kudos for being respectful of the bride’s wishes.
